At Bay Recovery we have a comprehensive physical rehabilitation program. The goal is functional restoration to improve mobility, function, rehabilitation, strengthening, and exercise. Rehabilitation within a program that stresses recovery from illnesses, pain, and loss of normal daily function begins with the goal of leading a normal existence. This is accomplished in a normal home environment not a facility. Many of our clients have lost normal functional tasks of living, in fact many become dependent on others to go through each day.
Rehabilitation begins when the body and mind work together.
First, clients are assisted with developing improved motion. We use massage therapy to free-up muscular fixations, and to improve tone and flexibility. Acupuncture is utilized to reduce pain and improve biochemical and physical functioning. Myofacial release is assisted with myofacsial and paraspinous injection therapy and nerve blocks, to free up fixations and restore motion.
We utilize Yoga and Che gon to improve and maintain flexibility, motion, and energy. Palaties and gyrotonics are used as individual needs dictate.
We utilize physical therapy, motion therapy, occupational therapy, and aqua therapy.
Our residential living homes are equipped with jacuzzi’s and a swimming pool to assist in rehabilitation. The psychological program includes stress reduction and a full pain management program.
Each client has an individualized treatment plan that stresses and prioritizes both physical and emotional healing.
A program that integrates detoxification and medication management in a step wise fashion to coincide with the physical and psychosocial modalities. This integrated approach and staging each phase of treatment that makes Bay Recovery unique in its ability to treat each clients needs in the order necessary to complete the rehabilitation process.
